How do I prepare my hair for a curly cut?
Do you cut straight hair?
Yes! We love hair of all types! Just click ‘Our Services & Booking’ and select 'Cut & Blow Dry' to book in.
How long does a curly cut take and what does it entail?
We allow 2 hours for a curly cut, please be flexible with this time if you are a new client as time is dependant on hair length and thickness. We go through a full consultation with you before cutting the hair dry. We will then perform a wet stretch test to see what your hair needs and apply a tailored treatment. We then apply styling products and dry the hair making finishing cuts to the hair where needed.
Do you take cash?
Our Ringwood salon is card only, our studio is cash or card
Where are you based?
We currently have two salons within the Ringwood, Hampshire area which is well placed if you’re travelling from Bournemouth, Poole or the New Forest. You can see our locations on our ‘locations’ page. Please note Shimayne is no longer taking on new clients at this time.

How long does delivery take?
We will send out your order within 2 days via courier. They aim to deliver within 3 days. if you haven't received your item within 15 days please get in touch with us so we can investigate.

gluten free?
Yes. Organic Colour Systems are safe to use if you have a gluten intolerance.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS CURLY GIRL METHOD RECOMMENDED?
Most of the OCS products are CGM compatible however a few of these have alcohol in the ingredients and therefore are not, these have been highlighted in the ingredients list on each product. With this being said we only use Organic Colour Systems in our salon due to the percentage of good, natural ingredients in them.
Do you have samples?
Yes we can send you samples of our hair care, they are £5 each plus £1 postage.
